This is on my mind

I'm thinking about home this week.  It is Memorial Day weekend coming up and my thoughts have returned to where I was born and raised.

Mules are quite popular there.  They don't founder and can easily leap fences without needing a running start so coon hunters like them alot.  This one was very friendly.

She's a real beauty don't you think?

She is lovely! You've made me think about where I grew up and have inspired me to look through old pictures - that'll be tomorrow's post.

She's a real beauty. I would like to give her a carrot. Have you returned to the place of your birth? It might be time for a trip. :- )

Lovely, I grew up with Thoroughbreds, and work with them, and foundering is always a worry, very lucky that mules don't have the problem.

She is beautiful Mary. Hope you have a nice weekend. I understand the urge to go to where you grew up. I only live about 10 miles away but it still calls my name. B

How pretty she is. So clever at being able to jump so easily too.
I, too, hope your weekend was nice.
It's lovely to go back either in thought or for a visit, to our home ground :D)
